A forerunner in cleaning laundry maintenance
On this page, we have gathered small and slightly bigger tips on how to organise the washing and maintenance of cleaning textiles by today's technology. We also share operating tips for our own Essi machines.
Keep the following things in mind
- Carefully plan the logistics of cleaning textiles. It is good to keep dirty and clean textiles separate, at least to a certain degree. Think how to work this out in small spaces, for example. Ask us for advice too!
- Dirty cleaning textiles must be moved/handled as little as possible after mopping/cleaning.
- Preferably use closed containers for storing/transporting dirty textiles. From the closed containers, the textiles are moved directly to the pre-cleaning machine – learn how many mops roughly fit in a container.
- The best tools are versatile and easy to clean – only clean tools can be used for cleaning.
- Get enough textile parts for mops to keep the cleaning and maintenance of your cleaning textiles running smoothly.
- Remember ergonomics!
General instructions for using mops
- One mop (60 cm) cleans the floor for approximately 10–35 m², depending on how dirty it is. To ensure effortless rotation, it is a good idea to keep 2.5 to 3 times the required amount of products at hand.
- With manual methods: during their shift (8 h), a cleaner needs about 15-20 semi-wet mops and about 8-10 wet mops (Diversey Care, Ama).
- With machine methods: during their shift (8 h) a cleaner needs about 15–20 wet mops and about 8–10 dry mops.
ESSI 20 Pre-Cleaner operating tips
- ESSI is an overkill and the savior of all cleaning staff. It’s a quiet helper who does its dirty work efficiently!
- ESSI is suitable for all types of spaces, even small ones, and only needs a flat base and three-phase power. If the space is cramped, send us a picture of the space and we will see its possibilities! However, the installation space and transport route must be reasonable.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to empty the hopper and vacuum the machine. Be careful not to scratch the drum and metal parts, select the nozzle accordingly.
- Allow the hopper to fill only up to halfway.
